With our roots in music production we were delighted to be asked to provide the music and organise sound and lights to celebrate the birthday of our dear friend Libby.
The event was held at the amazing Spyder Studios – a large unit with spaces for the disco, bar, caterers and a mezzanine for the guests to enjoy good, food, wine and a live band.
We were asked to compile a mixed four hour set of music inspired by Libby’s playlist with nods to each decade back to the 70’s. This was such an enjoyable puzzle to solve and the music went down well all night with an energetic, receptive and fun crowd. “Party of the decade” was heard quoted by guests as they left!
Here you can listen to the whole four hour set:

And thanks to…
We’d like to extend a special thanks to Adrian and his team at Nub Sound for providing a sumptuous 3k Fohhn sound system. Also to Styles Audio in Exeter who we used to hire premium party lights, lasers and haze. Their equipment was faultless, easy to use and in mint condition. We were also thankful to be able to hire projectors and additional lighting from our friend and neighbouring business, the mighty Silent Discomania.
